As a sustainable materials ECONYL is hard to beat. It is made from waste nylon including abandoned fishing nets. These waste fishing nets are either picked up in tidal collection parties or teams of divers. This removes a waste materials from the sea that stops it being a danger to marine wildlife.
The manufacturing process is also more environmentally friendly as it reduces the need for more extraction of polluting fossil fuels and the creation of harmful chemicals. After the recycling process you are left with a super soft fibre that is indistinguishable in quality from conventionally sourced nylon.
